Very happy to share with everyone the Tokyo Back Alleys collection with Big/Medium/Small. As many of you know Japan is near and dear to my heart. While me and the team have been working on this for just about a year, the real journey and inspiration started way back in 2017 on my first trip to Japan. With that being said I felt a huge amount of pressure to get this right and also to stay true and pay homage to this place I love.
Japan’s urban environments are amazing because of many things: but for me what sets it apart are layers and contrast. Old and new constantly collide together at every scale, and are woven together in a rich tapestry of history, buildings, infrastructure, and human-scaled elements and stories. There is a certain atmosphere of those streets that is difficult to describe - but my hope is that these environments/assets can capture the spirit of those places - and transport you to them.
Thank you once again to the amazing team who helped put this together. I can’t wait to see your art made with this pack.
